I was walking from my office to the parking lot yesterday when an elderly man stopped me to ask if I was an athlete.

"Are you a runner?" he asked. "You look powerful!"

I know, football season is over. But I was just thinking about how fun it was to go to high school football games. So much spirit and excitement... a completely different environment than college football, in my opinion (although that could be an artifact of the college I attended...)

I knew that my old high school had gained recognition, especially in the past few years for their football team-- becoming state champs, but also notably their pre-game dance, the haka. I had no idea, however, how famous they are!!! That's my football-crazy high school!
